With the introduction of contract farming, Sunel Tobacco Company set up an agronomy department where two Agronomists head a group of 32 experts who monitor and if need be guide local farmers helping promote Socially and environmentally responsible farming.Regular inspections are made during the entire tobacco farming period and up to date records are kept on field, farmer and seed performances.
