This kind of tobacco is grown geographically in the Black Sea region. Basma-type tobacco has a distinct characteristic. Taste feature is clear (resinous, sweet, sour, soil). Strengthwise scores Light - low impact and irritation in the throat. The aroma is a mixture of sweet and sour. Leaves a good-taste mouth feeling. It can enter all blends with its wide range of features. The burn is slow and the puff count is high.

Cigarette yields and hygroscopicity are moderate. Nicotine content is around 1%. Therefore the physiological effect of tobacco is slow, tasty and a bit aromatic. This type is suitable to be used in American and Virginia blends.

The elements of soil are mainly composed of clay deposits in the open valleys, lime and basalt being evolved after the separation from the main rocks. The upper level of soil is of medium thickness. The color of the soil is mainly reddish brown or light brown and contains clay and lime granules.

The average temperature during the ripening of tobacco is 19.7 degrees, the average precipitation is 96.9 mm square and the relative humidity is 58%.
